First things first: For a good while now, I have been thinking of eliminating my DA account, primarily for 2 reasons. One, I am really just playing to an audience of 2 or 3 here, and now that I have other means of cummunicating with my friends in college, It's not really nessacery(I think I misspeled that.). Two being that I want to limit the amount of online accounts I have, because I am infamously paranoid,and the internet is on a long list of things I don't trust. *twitch twitch* This is not to say at all that I will stop writing. No sir/maam, I am actually thinking of submitting poems to one of those literary magazines that show up on the bottom rack of newspaper holders in coffee shops and no one ever reads them. 1. What did you think of 2009? An enlightening year. As much as I'd like to say how much I've changed, I know that the parts of me I hate are still there, just dormant, waiting for me to surrender to them again, which I swore I wouldn't do. I've given up trying to understand everything, and embraced the fact that part of being human is being ignorant in some ways. Whether you are 14 or 98, there is still an infinite amount of knowledge that you will never be able to grasp, once you accept that, you'll stop running in circles chasing your tail pointlessly.

2. What do you think was the news story of the year? I try to refrain from watching the news. Last time I avidly followed the news, I wasted an entire summer worrying about things I couln't control.

3. What happened this year that you never want to hear another word about? Susan. Boyle. Hear me out I think the woman is bloody brilliant, and we can all learn something from her. However, the only reason folks glorified her as much as they did was because they judged her so harshly, and were trying to kill their guilt. You can't pre-judge someone like that and then pretend they're god just to make up for it.

4. What was your favorite song of 2009? New albums out from both Regina Spektor and Tori Amos, both favorites of mine, so it is a tie between "Ophelia" (tori) and "Eet" (regina)

5. What did you accomplish this year? I finally got the beloved pointe shoes. I "got over myself" quite a bit, so to speak.

6. Did you learn anything new this year? Yes. Yes. Yes.

7. What are you looking forward to in the new year? Another year, Another School, "Another Openin' of Another show."

8. What are your plans for New Year's Eve? Annual Party with the family. Maybe this year I won't hide in the den until midnight.

9. What's the best thing you ever did on a New Year's Eve? Not Hide in the den until midnight. Suck it up and atch the fireworks without flinching and freaking out.
